Harnessing the Power of Crystals: 3 Simple Techniques

• Carry it with You: Place the stone in your pocket or bag. You can hold it during moments of stress or when you need a boost of its energy. The outcome can be amplified by wearing on the left side of the body to receive or the right side of the body to project outwardly. If you are naturally left-handed, do the opposite.

• Cleanse your crystals: Make sure to cleanse your crystals after each use.

Steps to Use Crystals in Channeling Rituals:

• Select Your Crystal: Choose a crystal that resonates with goals you have within your session. There are varieties of crystals that draw spiritual guides closer, and others can tap into earthy energies. • Hold the Crystal: During your ritual, make sure the crystal is within your auric field. You can amplify the ask by holding the crystal in your hand or place it on your third eye chakra centre. Focus on your breathing and visualize a connection with the energy and the opening of the channel to the angel, spirit guide or higher self you wish to work with.
• Receive Messages: Stay open and receptive, allowing any messages or insights to come through in a way you will best understand. Trust your intuition and the guidance you receive.

4. Crystal Essences: Infusing Water with Crystal Energy

Crystal essences are created by infusing water with the energy of crystals, creating a potent and drinkable form of their vibrational essence.

Steps to Make Crystal Elixirs:

• Choose Safe Crystals: Ensure the crystals you select are safe for direct contact with water. Some crystals can release toxins or dissolve, so research beforehand. Safe options include clear quartz, rose quartz, and amethyst. If you are unsure, use the indirect method of infusion by placing your crystal against the outside surface of the vessel of water, or add the crystal to an airtight glass container to be placed into the water.
• Cleanse and Charge the Crystals: Cleanse and charge your crystals to ensure they carry positive energy.
• Infuse the Water: If using the direct method place the cleansed crystals in a glass jar and fill it with spring or filtered water. If using the indirect method, set your jar up accordingly. Leave the jar in sunlight or moonlight for several hours to allow the water to absorb the crystal’s energy. This can be done by using a windowsill if it’s winter, or the conditions are not favorable to leave your jar outside. Prayers, spells or spoken intention done at this stage will personalize and amplify your elixir.
• Remove the Crystals and Store: Remove the crystals from the water and store your essence in a glass bottle. You can drink it directly, add it to your bath, or use it in cooking or tea. Use up within 24hr for maximum benefit.
• Prescribed Serving Size: Always use your own discernment but I advise creating small batches of crystal essences. Even if you take it one more step further and preserve your essences as an elixir with 1:1 ratio of glycerin or alcohol, you don’t need much to start the process. ¼-1/2   cup of finished crystal essence is enough to reap the benefits of this technique.
